LAGO AGRIO AIRPORT CLOSED UNTIL DECEMBER 14, 2009
The airport at Lago Agrio in Sucumbios is closed until December 14, 2009. The tarmac is being repaved and a facilities building is being constructed. The alternate airport is at Coca which is approximately 90 minutes from Lago Agrio. Lago Agrio airport currently serves about 3,000 passengers a week. (TRAVEL SAFETY ECUADOR)
