CLANDESTINE PHARMACY LABORATORY CLOSED IN RIOBAMBA
A clandestine pharmacy laboratory operating in Riobamba has been closed by authorities. Two Cubans and an Ecuadorian were taken into custody. It is believed that many of the illegal drugs being manufactured may have displayed the Pfizer label along with many other trade names. Counterfeit drugs has been a continuing problem in Ecuador and consumers should make efforts to purchase drugs or medicinal products from well known pharmacies such as FYBECA or other comparable drug store chains. .
