IRANIAN NATIONAL MURDERED IN QUITO
A 44 year old Iranian national was murdered in his vehicle yesterday by gunshot in Quito. Reports state that he was transporting money ($44,000) for the Hotel Casino Quito to a nearby bank when the vehicle he was in was intercepted by assailants. The crime took place on av. La Coruņa. He was with the chief of security from the hotel. Police surmised that the malefactors were familiar with the victims route. (TRAVEL SAFETY ECUADOR)
