TOURIST SHIP SINKS IN THE GALAPAGOS
At 2:30 am this morning in heavy seas, the tourist boat Cormant II sunk after a distress call was sent out. The crew of eight and fourteen passengers were rescued with some minor injuries being reported. The seas have been reported to be extremely rough the last several days. Environmental damage will have to be researched as there was 1000 gallons of fuel on board. Source: El Comercio
