AUTHORITIES CONFISCATE DYNAMITE BEING TRANSPORTED ON PUBLIC BUS FROM GUAYAQUIL TO SAN LORENZO
The Customs Surveillance Service of Ecuador confiscated 126 sticks of dynamite that were packed as a parcel on a passenger bus. Authorities believe the contraband was headed for Colombia as the bus was in route from Guayaquil to San Lorenzo. The operation took place near Rio Verde in Esmeraldas. This is the second time since August that authorities have found dynamite in Esmeraldas since August.
