FIRE AT ROYAL DECAMERON BEACH RESORT
According to newspaper reports a fire broke out yesterday at the all inclusive resort, Royal Decameron Beach Resort. Located in Mompiche in Esmeraldas the 282 room resort opened in December of 2009. Reports indicated that there were no injuries and the fire broke out in the main electrical plant. It was extinguished within an hour.
Attempts to contact the resort via telephone by ecuadortraveladvisory.com were unsuccessful.
